You're Not The Only One---Smile

I know how it feels when the bills are due and you really do not know where your next dollar will come from. I am in those same shoes myself. Bill collectors call my phone every single day, several times a day at that. I don't answer cause I know their first question, "When can you make a payment." Hell, I don't know myself. But, weather you can pay them or not, it's still best to answer and let them know. It will take maybe a pound or so off your load, for a while.

Where I'm from, the sun don't shine everyday. Matter of fact, it's cold and cloudy outside right now. The temp is about a good 30 degrees. Life can feel the same way. It can be just like the weather. Some days may be pretty, sunny, and warm, and some days may be cloudy, rainy, and cold. But, through it all, you have to smile. You might run across me and see me smiling all the time. I just know walking around with my head down and feeling sorry for myself won't make things any better. I just try to keep that smile on my face and keep my head up cause I know there will be better days to come. I'm going to make sure they come. I'm going to do what ever I have to do to make does days, does dreams a reality.

Some people situations are better than the next persons, and some are worst. I have a lot of talent. From music, to poetry, and to art. It's hard where I'm from because people don't respect your craft and just want hand outs. It seems like every time I think I'm bout to get on my feet good, here comes a strong gush of wind and knock me right of my feet. I never let that keep me on the ground. I get back up every single time and fight again and again. I mean, that's what separates the great people from the average. It's a little word called Determination. Determination is defined as the act of coming to a decision or of fixing or settling a purpose. I have a purpose, and in all the power that rest within me, I'm going to settle it. Set your goals and dream in life and act upon those things. I love the movie Pursuit of Happiness, staring Will Smith. The reminds me of myself because it seems like I go through similar trails. If you haven't seen it, I advice you to take the time to sit down and watch it. It's based on a true story. It goes to show you that if you never give up, you will reach your goals in life. No one told me it would be easy, and I can see that from a distance. So, never think you're the only one dealing with the hardships of life, many people are dealing with them. So smile. Things are not as bad as they may seem.
